Recent new California regulations have significantly changed the solar market and made it impossible for us to continue operating sustainably. As part of this process, Smart Solar Design Construction is closing its doors.
While this is not the outcome we wanted, we are grateful for every customer who trusted us with their home and energy goals.
If you have questions about equipment warranties, please contact your manufacturer directly.
Most solar equipment warranties are provided and honored by the manufacturer (not the installer). Your manufacturer can help with warranty coverage, troubleshooting steps, replacement parts, and approved service options.
To contact your manufacturer, look for:
The brand name on your panels, inverter/microinverters, battery, or monitoring system
The model and serial number (often on the equipment label and/or in your monitoring app)
Your original installation paperwork, if available
If you’re unsure who the manufacturer is, check your monitoring app (commonly used for system details), or the labels on your solar equipment.
